Time has taken away the smile from our lips Spark from our eyes Soul from our bodies Still we exist, don't we? And they have kept the white pigeons In their private cubicles To release as a gesture of amnesty After shedding the blood enough After perishing the lives enough After demolishing the monuments of human efforts  After destroying the natural resources And when the air has been contaminated by The debris of the nukes They will talk about amnesty They will begin to think about peace Will we be alive to see the flying doves then?
