Monsoon used to start in June The very first day itself,   While we were preparing for school   After a cozy summer vacation,   With sleepy eyes and heavy hearts   I would rummage for books, pens, and pencils.   Dim, damp, and dreary weather inside and out Indifferent to boyish anxieties,   Accompanied us to and fro.   Summer retracted, skies and playgrounds wore a mournful look.   Benign summer was always an ally to us,   Helping plan everything we wanted to do.   Even at noon we were out in the field  No sunburn, no dehydration, no heat rashes.   A perfect nostalgia for a sentimentalist.   I don’t know when things changed.   The weather became erratic, like a stream‑of‑consciousness novel.   It used to rain in June, but now it is unpredictable.   Benign summer has given way to a more penetrating one,   Making us wait for a...

The dial of destiny is ticking,  And I'm in a vain hurry, I don't know where this road is taking me, I don't know what's there at the end. I'm drifting across the time plane, Anxious and in haste, Searching for a purpose, Yearning for completeness, Though I don't yet know what completeness is!

Once, an angel fell in love with a demon. That pristine love kindled his emotions. He became more and more refined through this love. As time passed, their love blossomed. Being an inmate of Hell, he was forbidden to love an angel, And for an angel, it was a sin, For Hell had always waged war against Heaven. Nevertheless, the lovers met secretly on frequent occasions. But one day, they were both caught red-handed. The Lord of Hell banished the demon to Earth for a time. The God of Heaven put the angel on trial And cursed her to live a life on Earth. Both the angel and the demon were born on Earth, Unaware of their past. Years passed, And at the dawn of their youth, They met each other. They were bound together by the aura of love. They loved, loved, and loved again, And they got married. They were content even during their hard times, And they spread light around them, Helping the helpless and the hapless. But their sojourn on Earth was about to end, And at the appointed time, death ca...
